This is a link to our deposit policy on Facebook. It says:
LIBERTY TATTOO LLC ::: DEPOSIT/APPOINTMENT INFORMATION SHEET ::: PLEASE READ!
*All tattoo appointments require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. This deposit is a down-payment on
your tattoo and is a drawing/filing fee for the artist doing your tattoo.
*To get tattooed you must be 18 or older with a valid state-issued photo ID. This includes drivers license,
passport, laminated learners permit, non-driver ID, military ID. We do not take school IDs. We need
to copy your ID when you get tattooed. No ID, no tattoo, no exceptions.
*If you are 16 or 17 you may have a parent or guardian sign for your tattoo.
Both of you must have valid IDs of the type listed above.
Again, no school IDs. Last names and addresses have to match. If they do not match you must bring a
birth certificate and marriage license to prove that you are the parent. If you are the legal guardian you must
provide court documentation proving this. Parents/guardians must be present for the ENTIRE TATTOO PROCESS.
This includes any subsequent appointments for the same tattoo project.
*If you are going to arrive late for your appointment call the shop at 860-828-8880 and let us know.
Dont just walk in twenty minutes late and assume its no big deal, because it screws up our schedule.
*If you need to reschedule your appointment, 48 hours notice is required for 8 hour sessions,
24 hours notice required for all others. If you give too little notice we may keep part or all of your deposit to
compensate for lost time and money. Obviously emergencies happen but this is subject to the discretion
of your tattoo artist. If you cancel outright or no-call no-show us you lose your deposit, but if you
reschedule with notice your deposit may be applied to another appointment. Call the shop at
860-828-8880 to cancel or reschedule. Do not email, facebook, or text us. Leave a voicemail message if need be.
*Deposits are taken off your FINAL tattoo session. You cannot use them before your final session.
*Artwork and reference should be given to the artist BEFORE your appointment, preferably the
day you make your appointment. Do not leave original art with us, let us photocopy it or scan it.
Email art to LIBERTYTATTOOLLC@YAHOO.COM with your name and appointment date in the subject line.
Dont just bring pics on your cell phone because youll have to email them anyways. Please do this ahead of time.
*If you have a budget for your tattoo session please let us know before we begin your tattoo,
preferably the day you make your appointment.
*If there are any changes to your tattoo (placement, design, budget, etc) please let us know as soon as possible,
especially if it is a larger, multi-session piece. Do not schedule a backpiece or sleeve and change the whole
concept two days before your appointment.
*If multiple people are scheduled to get tattooed and someone isnt coming we need to know ASAP.
The same rules apply for each person in the group, so 24 hours notice is required. If someone drops at the
last minute they are responsible for filling that appointment slot with another client or they lose their deposit.
You cannot just give your deposit to someone who is already being tattooed that day.
*Each client is allowed one spectator at a time for the tattoo process. In the case of minors this must be the
parent or guardian. People can switch off, but do not bring a crowd if only one person is being tattooed.
*Do not call us asking to see a sketch of your tattoo two weeks before your appointment. For larger projects
most of these details should have been worked out during a consultation appointment. For smaller, single
session tattoos we generally dont draw until the day before or morning of your appointment and we usually
allow time for minor changes or alterations to your design.
